Cameron Payne finished with 14 points, three assists, and three boards on 5-of-14 from the field and 4-of-9 from deep in Monday’s loss to the Pistons.
Payne benefited from the absences of Dwyane Wade (thigh) and Rajon Rondo (ankle). Neither injury is serious so both could be back on the court very soon, killing Payne’s value. Keep an eye on him- he is viewed as the Bulls’ PG of the future and can spread the floor with his shooting so he may earn more minutes in time, but patience is warranted.
