Nick Young has been an effective defender when called upon so far in the Western Conference Finals against the Rockets.
It's a small sample size, but when Young has been the primary defender, he has held the opposition to 3-of-12 from the field and contested 11 of the 12 shots. This includes 1-of-8 from deep and three turnovers. Swaggy P will be needed more in Game 4 with Andre Iguodala (knee) listed as doubtful. The three-point specialist could be sneaky cheap DFS play after averaging 16 mpg so far and possibly more in Game 4 with no Iggy. However Kerr could also opt to give that time to Kevon Looney or Jordan Bell. It's a risk, but Young's defending plus floor spacing should give him the edge.
