• Carmelo Anthony and Paul George scored 23 points and 14 points respectively in Sunday’s home loss to the Wolves.

Anthony went 9-for-19 but hit a clutch 3-pointer with four seconds left to give the Thunder a lead and George shot 6-for-20 and had some uncharacteristic misses near the basket. Carmelo had three steals and not much else and will most likely produce at this rate throughout the year as the Thunder are using him as an iso scorer in the second unit while George and Russell Westbrook sit. George had a fuller line with six rebounds, eight assists and four steals but shot 1-for-8 from deep. He’ll keep firing away and the shots will fall eventually as he adjusts to playing with his new team.
