Carmelo Anthony did his damage from behind the arc on Friday, hitting 7-of-12 from deep en route to 24 points in 35 minutes of work.
As expected, Anthony’s line was otherwise fairly underwhelming though there is something to say for a steal and a block. This type of shooting night is more the exception than the norm for Melo these days, and his dispiriting lack of ancillary stats keeps him limited to the middle-rounds. He’s certainly worth starting every week but he’s just not the fantasy game-changer he used to be.
