Carmelo Anthony played 35 minutes in a loss to the Magic on Monday, finishing with 19 points (6-of-17 from the field, 7-of-8 at the line), seven boards, three assists, three steals, one block and one turnover.
With Kristaps Porzingis out, Anthony failed to capitalize for his fantasy owners and had an off shooting night. He also missed all of his four attempts from downtown, but he got it done in every other category. Melo was questionable tonight coming into the game because of a sore right knee, which is definitely worth monitoring as it’s his bad knee. In his last four games, he’s been just outside of the top-175. Owners may want to look into trading him away for another early-round player if they’re worried about lingering injury woes on older players.
