• Carmelo Anthony could not buy a bucket on Thursday, making just 4-of-11 shots from the field finishing with 13 points.

He disappeared in this game, burning his owners’ field goal percentage yet again. Melo shot just 4-of-12 against the Nets on Tuesday, so fantasy teams that have him rostered are feeling the hurt. He’s gone through periods like this in the past and has found ways to shake it off. He has not, however, played alongside a player with the caliber of Russell Westbrook. Anthony’s needed the ball in his hands in order to be productive but considering he has a ball-dominant point guard running the show, off-games like these recent ones can be expected. He simply is not the Melo he once was and should be treated as such in fantasy.
