The Cavs have signed the 2016 D-League Defensive Player of the Year, DeAndre Liggins, to a training camp deal, according to Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com.
Liggins will be on the outside looking in during training camp, but his defensive abilities alone may be enough to earn him a spot on the main roster. His ability to defend multiple positions is something that appealed to the Cavs and other NBA teams in the past. However, his lack of an offensive game and shooting touch has steered potential teams away.
