• The Celtics are planning on using Ante Zizic next season to bolster their frontcourt.

It’s a big ask for last year’s 23rd overall selection, but he’s looking good overseas. Across 35 games he’s averaged 14.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and a block in just 25 minutes. Among those 35 are 13 impressive outings with Croatia’s KK Cibona, where Zizic averaged a stout 20 points, nine boards and 1.2 blocks in his 29 minutes per contest. The Celtics sorely lack rebounding and rim protection and will be looking to Zizic as a long-term solution there. It’ll be interesting to see how Brad Stevens plugs him into the rotation, and there will be an adjustment period, but keeper and dynasty owners can officially get excited.
