Chris Paul has been ruled out of Saturday's Game 6 because of a hamstring injury.
The injury looked bad from the start, with Paul not even attempting to get back into a 5-on-4 situation that resulted in a clanked wide-open triple from Quinn Cook. Last night Paul said he'd be fine, but that's clearly not the case. Eric Gordon is looking at more playmaking in Game 6 while James Harden is looking at the biggest game of his career (at least until a possible Game 7 without Paul). The Rockets have been running with a seven-man rotation to this point but might have to open it up by one or two more guys. Luc Mbah a Moute seems the likeliest candidate at the moment, though there's nobody who can replace Paul directly. It's a terrible development for fans, who have been treated to some compelling, if ugly, games between two of the league's very best.
