Chris Paul delivered another fantasy gem on Monday, scoring 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting with three 3-pointers, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block.
Paul started off slow in the first half but revved up the engine to full throttle to finish the game and help put away the Pelicans. He and Harden have meshed well in only 11 games and they played the crunch time minutes perfectly. One of his nine assists was a dish that lead to a Harden dagger 3-pointer and it looks like the two players are going to co-exist as first round fantasy assets. So far Paul is averaging 14.8 points, 2.1 3-pointers, 9.5 assists and 2.1 steals on 46 percent shooting. He’s attempting the most 3-pointers in his career at 5.3 and is still hitting them at a 39.7 percent clip. There’s still room for improvement as well.
