According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Clint Capela (thumb) will be out four to six weeks.
This comes out of nowhere as Capela stated that he had gotten X-rays after their last game and the results came back negative. He didn't believe the injury was too serious but it looks like he was ultimately wrong. The injury comes at a horrible time for the Rockets who are already missing Chris Paul and Eric Gordon and don't have much frontcourt depth at all outside of Nene and Marquese Chriss. They might need to sign or trade for a more reliable big man but Capela is a solid hold whether or not your league has and IR spot. He was having another breakout year as he's the 19th ranked player in fantasy but it looks like he'll be on the shelf for the next month and a half.
