• C.J. Williams
    G/F, Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are expected to waive C.J. Williams, according to beat reporter Brad Turner of the LA Times.

Williams was on a two-way contract last season with the Clippers and played in 38 games of which he started 18. The Clippers simply have too much backcourt depth after drafting guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson in the first round and retaining Avery Bradley and Milos Teodosic in free agency. Williams should be able to find a new team before the season starts. The Clippers are at 17 roster spots after this transaction.
