The Los Angeles Clippers have selected Miles Bridges with the No. 12 pick in the NBA Draft and will be trading him to the Charlotte Hornets in a deal involving Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Bridges comes in right away with an NBA ready body and projects more as a stretch four. Bridges was a two year player at Michigan State and put up very similar stats in his second season despite switching from a four to a three. Bridges needs to improve his handling before he becomes an above average shot creator, but if his motor is consistent he's got the athleticism to be a two-way player. With Nicolas Batum and Marvin Williams still on the team, Bridges may be capped at 20 minutes per game in year one, but he may have sneaky value if he plays up to his potential.
