Cody Zeller played 29 minutes in a loss to the Nets on Monday, finishing with 15 points (7-of-11 from the field, 1-of-2 from the line), nine boards, two assists, one steal and no turnovers.
Zeller has been somewhat disappointing this year, but in his last six games, he’s been a top-60 player in 29.8 minutes per game. When he’s on, his fantasy game is a lot like Gorgui Dieng’s and that’s not too shabby. Zeller’s low turnovers, ability to get both steals and blocks, while flirting with double-doubles are the primary reasons why he’s a solid fantasy asset. Hopefully he can keep it going against the Magic on Wednesday.
