• D'Angelo Russell
    G, Brooklyn Nets

D'Angelo Russell put up 18 points with eight assists in an easy 102-86 win over the Cavs on Wednesday.

This was Russell's best game of the season and he needed a performance like this to prove why he has the term "franchise cornerstone" attached to him. He still shot inefficiently at 5-of-14 from the field, but he did not a miss a free throw in six attempts and held his turnovers to one. Hopefully Russell can continue having games like this one to stop the criticism that has been hurled at him as of late.
