D’Angelo Russell scored a team-high 28 points in a loss to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. He grabbed four rebounds, handed out five assists, and hit six triples.
He shot 9-of-18 from the field and 4-of-6 from the line. This was Russell’s best game since his 32-point explosion way back on November 15th. Russell is now healthy once again and ready to up his game in 2017. Both Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams played just 17 minutes each off the bench. A more productive Russell will surely eat into their minutes moving forward.
