• D’Angelo Russell and Ivica Zubac both struggled against the Rockets on Wednesday, combining for a putrid seven points in 36 minutes.

Russell again came off the bench behind Jordan Clarkson, and played 25 minutes to finish with five points, two boards, two assists and two steals.  After turning in several strong performances after the All-Star Break Russell has really struggled in his last two.  Owners don’t have much of a choice but to hold on at this point, but it might be a long road back to fantasy success for the sophomore guard.

Meanwhile, after a career night against the Nuggets on Monday, Zubac scored just one bucket with two boards and one assist in 11 minutes on the court.  The team made a point of calling him the starter for the remainder of the season earlier today, but starting doesn’t guarantee playing time.  Owners who were ready to anoint him as a fantasy difference maker may have gotten ahead of themselves.
