• D’Angelo Russell struggled in his 26 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Russell shot 3-of-10 from the field and 1-0f-5 from beyond the arc, en route to his 7-point performance. Russell did grab four rebounds, dish out four assists and get three steals.

    Russell will have his ups and downs as he takes over the Lakers in the post-Kobe Bryant era. The Lakers had an all-around bad night against Minnesota and Russell was just part of the carnage. He is still a solid point guard and a sneaky breakout candidate moving forward. His owners will have to be a bit patient with the second-year guard for now.
