D’Angelo Russell scored 12 points on 6-of-14 shooting with six assists, four rebounds, and eight turnovers in only 21 minutes on Tuesday in a loss to the Nuggets.
Russell, like all of the Nets starters, played extremely limited limited minutes tonight. He still managed to put up a fairly well-rounded line, but was devastating in the turnover category. Russell should continue to be a mid-to-late round value, but his extreme turnover rate limits his appeal in 9-cat leagues. Allen Crabbe (three points, three rebounds, two steals, 19 minutes) and DeMarre Carroll (nine points, six rebounds, one assist, 18 minutes) all played limited action tonight as well as Coach Kenny Atkinson opted to give his reserve unit extended run.
