Danilo Gallinari had a team-high in scoring in Monday’s 104-101 win over the Mavs with 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting (4-of-5 FTs) to go with four 3-pointers and five rebounds.
Gallinari made some big plays down the stretch and was locked in on defense when the Clippers needed him to be as they shutout the Mavs in the final 4:00 of the game. He’s healthy for now and the question was never about his ability on the floor, but the ability to stay on it. The glute injury looks like a thing of the past and he’s back to his point-forward responsibilities on a Clipper team that needs him to score.
