Danilo Gallinari was back in the Denver Nuggets’ starting lineup on Friday after missing several games with a bone bruise on his knee. Gallo struggled from the field, making just 2-of-12 shots; but was money from the free-throw line and knocked down 17-of-18 shots from the stripe to finish with 21 points, 11 rebounds, a steal, and two blocks.
He also missed all six of his shots from three-point range, so clearly he’s dealing with some on-court rust, which of course is understandable. That said, he does look healthy and has been a solid contributor in fantasy prior to going down with the knee injury. Gallinari will make an interesting play with Denver’s three-game slate next week.
