Danny Green (groin) posted eight points, four rebounds, two threes, a steal and a block in 24 minutes while Kyle Anderson (sprained MCL) delivered five points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer in 24 minutes of his own during Wednesday’s victory over the Blazers.
Green did head into the locker room with a limp so keep an eye out for updates on that front. He said after the game that his groin tightened up, so we’re not expecting to see him play tomorrow. Other than that, the Spurs’ wing duo did their usual thing. Anderson won’t get as much playing time going forward with Kawhi back but is on the deep league radar thanks to his Lite-Green production. The real deal, Green himself, should be owned in standard leagues and is worth holding through any short term injuries. He’s a roto darling but is far more frustrating in head-to-head formats, though cash counters are cash counters.
