Danny Green couldn’t get anything to fall when the Spurs met up with the Grizzlies for the second time in three nights, finishing with zero points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals and two turnovers in the 16-point win on Friday night.
Green is having a nice season all-around but this is actually the second time in the last five games that Green has been held scoreless. If this is evidence that he’s cooling off, it shouldn’t be a huge deal. Green’s calling cards this season has been his 3s, steals and blocks. While his 3s are being affected by these tough shooting nights, he’s still producing defensive stats.
