Danny Green scored four points on 2-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds and five assists in 20 minutes of action in Monday’s 118-81 blowout win over the Jazz.
Green played well in this game but the lack of money counting stats had the Internet on his case yet again. We’re not cutting him and yes we’re feeling the heat and yes we may possibly be crazy. We didn’t even pull him from lineups this week because we want to be there for the inevitable bounce-back week.
January 25, 2020, 10:36 pmShabazz NapierPG, Minnesota Timberwolves
Shabazz Napier triple-doubled on Saturday with 10 points, a career-high 10 rebounds and a career-high 13 assists in 31 minutes.
Napier had a night to remember on Saturday and is a top-130 player per game the past two weeks. His value is mostly coming from his assists (6.6 per game the past two weeks), but he is a fringe standard-league player while he's the starting point guard in Minnesota.
January 25, 2020, 10:32 pmDerrick RosePG, Detroit Pistons
Derrick Rose had another solid outing and posted 27 points in Saturday's 111-121 overtime loss to the Nets, chipping in four rebounds, six assists and two steals.
Rose continues to have a resurgent year and in the month of January is averaging almost 23 points a game. Even with this solid offensive output he is only returning seventh-round value as he provides very little else besides points and assists, though he does provide a positive boost in FG percentage compared to other point guards.
January 25, 2020, 10:25 pmSekou DoumbouyaPF, Detroit Pistons
Sekou Doumbouya was horrible in Saturday's loss to the Nets, logging zero points, on 0-of-5 shooting and registering just two rebounds.
Ouch. After a 24 point explosion in mid-January, Doumbouya was a hot pick-up off the waiver-wire. As a result the Pistons increased his minutes, while also starting 12 of the past 13 games. After tonight's game, he should not be rostered in any but the deepest of leagues.
January 25, 2020, 10:19 pmAndre DrummondC, Detroit Pistons
Andre Drummond double-doubled in Saturday's overtime loss to the Nets, logging 20 points, 21 rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
Drummond shot below average in this one going 8-of-20 from the field as he had to contend against the Nets' Jarrett Allen. The less than stellar shooting also transferred to the charity stripe, where he went 4-of-8. Nevertheless, he still finished with a monster day on the glass, and the two blocks, making this a good game for roto and points league players.
January 25, 2020, 10:15 pmBruce BrownSG, Detroit Pistons
Bruce Brown scored 17 points in Saturday's loss to the Nets, chipping in five rebounds, five assists and three three-pointers.
Brown got the start with teammate Reggie Jackson resting. He was pretty good from the field, converting 7-of-12, though he failed to get to the charity stripe. He filled out the rest of the box score with five boards and five assists without any countable defensive stats. Brown is an end of bench player would swipes a respectable amount of steals for teams in need.
January 25, 2020, 10:07 pmSvi MykhailiukSF, Detroit Pistons
Sviatoslav Mykahiliuk scored 19 points in Saturday's overtime loss to the Nets, chipping in five rebounds, three assists, a steal and three three-pointers.
Mykahiliuk drew another start and was productive in tonight's game scoring 19 points. He has scored in double figures in 12 of his past 13 games in the month of January, averaging almost 14 points a game. Unsurprisingly he provides a great source of three-pointers but is also averaging nearly a steal a game. As long as he is starting he is worthy of a roster spot in most standard leagues.
January 25, 2020, 9:42 pmMalcolm BrogdonPG, Indiana Pacers
Malcolm Brogdon (concussion) will not play on Sunday vs. the Blazers.
Brogdon will miss his second game after getting hit in the head on Wednesday. Sunday will be Brogdon's 17th game missed with injury this season. He's a top-75 player in per game value and hopefully he can get back on the court soon.

January 25, 2020, 9:35 pmZhaire SmithSG, Philadelphia Sixers
Zhaire Smith sprained his left ankle and finished Saturday's game with one assist in three minutes.
It was his first minutes with the Sixers this season so it was disappointing to see him leave early with an injury. Smith won't have an impact in standard leagues this season.

January 25, 2020, 9:31 pmAllen CrabbeSG, Minnesota Timberwolves
Allen Crabbe hurt his left knee during Saturday's game and will not return.
Crabbe finished the game with one rebound and one turnover in four minutes. Crabbe is unlikely to have standard-league value at any point this season. If he misses time his minutes should go to Josh Okogie who had a 17-point performance in 32 minutes on Friday.

January 25, 2020, 9:06 pmGoga BitadzeC, Indiana Pacers
Goga Bitadze missed Friday's game with an illness but is not listed on the injury report for Sunday.
Bitadze hasn't been able to carve out a role this season with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis ahead of him. He isn't likely to have an impact in re-draft leagues this season.
