According to beat writer Tom Moore, Dario Saric remains on his 24 minute guideline tonight.
Saric scored 16 points on Sunday in Toronto while dealing with the same constraint and can clearly be productive whenever he’s on the court. He was given the minutes cap to close the year as he dealt with a sore heel and the team is obviously going to be careful with the budding star. Downgrade him a little, but he’s still got nice upside thanks to a versatile skillset. Top-80 isn’t out of the question even if he only plays one half’s worth of basketball every night.
Update: Brett Brown described Saric’s injury as a case of plantar fasciitis.
It’s a bit surprising that Saric is even active considering this new report. It’s obviously not a long term concern at this point but it’s something worth keeping an eye on.
