Darren Collison played an efficient 27 minutes for the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. He shot 7-of-9 from the field, 2-of-3 from downtown, and 5-of-6 from the line; en route to his 21-point game.
Collison handed out two assists, and also swiped two steals in this game. He was the team’s clear third scoring option in this one, and it’s efficient scoring night’s like this one that buoy his volatile fantasy appeal this 2016-17. Ty Lawson tweaked his ankle tonight and we could see Collison logging some heavier minutes this coming week. Some higher usage could trigger a run of some good games. His long-term value for the season is still up in the air and is dependent on the moves the Kings make on or before the trade deadline.
