• RJ Barrett
    SF, New York Knicks

David Fizdale did not hold 2018 lottery pick Kevin Knox accountable enough as a rookie, but the Knicks coach won’t make the same mistake with RJ Barrett.

Barrett comes in with massive hype as the No. 3 pick after playing for Duke, but the rookie could be in a dogfight for the starting shooting-guard position. In 30.7 minutes per game out in Las Vegas with the Knicks, Barrett averaged 11.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. However, he only averaged 28 percent from the field and it’s almost certain that the leash will be short on the rookie especially after the team signed veterans Wayne Ellington and Reggie Bullock
