The Kings opted to go with two point guards in their starting five on Monday and De’Aaron Fox delivered 12 points, three rebounds, five assists, one 3-pointer and one steal in 32 minutes.
The minutes are encouraging, though you have to wonder why the Kings opted to use the speedy Fox with their lead-footed veterans. It’s a group that’s more or less doomed to fail, but that seems par for the course here. Fox has been fairly impressive in his rookie season though consistent standard league fantasy value is a big ask at the moment. He’s best left to deep leagues right now but does have a nice second half outlook that only gets better with each Kings loss.
