De’Aaron Fox finished Thursday’s game with 14 points, including the game-winning dunk as the Kings downed the Heat.
Fox’s fantasy value is far overblown because of his name recognition as a highly-drafted rookie. He has been a huge negative for fantasy owners in every category sans assists. While he has improved as the season has progressed, it is very difficult to swallow his negative impact in any redraft leagues. He can be deployed to provide a small bump in assists, but unless he can find a way to improve drastically and provide positive value in at least one of his deficient categories, he is not worth using in standard leagues even as a specialist.
