De’Aaron Fox logged 24 minutes in his first professional game, notching 14 points, four rebounds and five assists while shooting 7-of-15 from the field in a loss to the Rockets.
It’s a strong statement from Fox, who was pretty darn good in his first game. His athleticism and quickness were impossible to ignore and it’s a great sign that he got 24 minutes off the bench. Fox might have trouble churning out standard league value, as the lack of cash counters can attest, but he should be able to make some noise in the second half of the season when the Kings really let him go.
