DeAndre Bembry started in Tuesday's finale against the Sixers, scoring seven points on 3-of-7 shooting with four rebounds, seven assists and five steals in just 22 minutes.
Bembry had a groin/abdominal injury cost him a few weeks and a fracture in his right (shooting) wrist kept him from ever getting off the ground this season, which is too bad because the thin Hawks could have been a nice launching pad. He played in just 26 contests and put up 5.2 points, 0.4 treys, 2.8 boards, 1.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. The percentages were terrible but it's okay to ignore that a bit in such a small sample size on a bad team.
