David Fizdale revealed in a radio interview that DeAndre Jordan wanted to stay a Knick when presented a buyout offer following the trade deadline.
Many at the time believed that Jordan remaining in New York, rather than being given the opportunity to join a contender via buyout, was largely the Knicks' decision, making this a surprising revelation. It's unclear if Jordan will feel the same way as a free agent, but if he does return to New York in the offseason, it will only complicate star rookie Mitchell Robinson's outlook heading into next season.
