Dejounte Murray was unable to play at all in the 2018-2019 season after tearing his ACL in the preseason.
Murray suffered the torn ACL on October 19 and wasn’t able to get back on the court this season. He was a big part of the Spurs gameplan coming into the season and his injury really threw them off balance. Players like Derrick White, Bryn Forbes and Lonnie Walker IV tried to fill Murray’s spot but none of them truly succeeded. Murray had an ADP of 33 on Yahoo! and 46 on ESPN before going down and was widely thought to be a breakout candidate for both the realm of fantasy and the NBA. The hype around Murray will likely pick back up around next preseason and he’s still only 22-years old. He could be a mid-round guy next year with the upside for even more.
