• Dejounte Murray
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Dejounte Murray had his best game of the preseason on Wednesday, finishing with 20 points (8-of-11 shooting), four assists, three rebounds, a steal, two 3-pointers and no turnovers in 21 minutes.

Murray had yet to find his shot through the preseason thus far, but tonight's matchup against what was a lax Houston defense. Still, a night like this is exactly what he needs to regain some confidence after missing all of last year to injury. He's an interesting, albeit risky, choice in the later rounds of drafts.

Fantasy News

  • Jeff Teague
    PG, Minnesota Timberwolves

Jeff Teague will start on Friday for the Wolves vs. the Wizards.

Teague returned on Wednesday after a four-game absence and performed well. On Friday he will be responsible for helping to orchestrate more of the offense from the perimeter while Andrew Wiggins is absent for personal reasons. Teague is a solid DFS play tonight.

  • Danuel House
    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House (back) will be absent for the Rockets-Pacers game on Friday and has a 50/50 chance to play on Saturday.

House has had a fantastic season averaging 12 points, 2.5 three-pointers, 1.2 steals and 1 block on strong percentages thus far. Eric Gordon is out as well and House will ultimately return with a large role in the Rocket's lineup.

  • Russell Westbrook
    PG, Houston Rockets

Russell Westbrook is active on Friday but is more than likely resting on Saturday vs. the Wolves according to head coach Mike D'antoni.

It is frustrating in the moment to see Westbrook getting rested like all of the NBA superstars nowadays, but it may be in his best interest for the 82 game long regular season. Just enjoy having him healthy all season and prepare for his absence on Saturday.

  • Andrew Wiggins
    SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

In addition to being out Friday for personal reasons, Andrew Wiggins is uncertain to play on Saturday against the Rockets.

Wiggins is with his family after his grandmother's passing. He will be back soon enough, and has done plenty already this season. Hold off on any sell-high trade offers for the time being.

  • Dejounte Murray
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Dejounte Murray (knee maintenance) will take the court on Friday vs. the Magic, but rest on Saturday vs. the Blazers.

Standard protocol for Murray as the Spurs want to make sure he has no relapses this season. All in all, Murray has been a tad disappointing this season, but he still has a lot of potential for improvement. If he could ever get to share the floor with Derrick White it would be a boon for his value. For now, he is a solid hold with upside in standard leagues.

  • Derrick Jones Jr.
    SF, Miami Heat

Derrick Jones Jr. will be absent yet again on Saturday, as he continues to deal with a left hip injury.

DJJ is a lost cause at this point. A lot would have to change on the Heat for Jones to discover a decent role at this point. Perhaps he will surprise us at the end of the year, but the Heat are playing winning basketball already, and it is unlikely they turn to DJJ when the team is already performing above expectations. Kz Okpala is also out tonight due to an ongoing achilles injury.

  • Justise Winslow
    SF, Miami Heat

Justise Winslow will remain in concussion protocol for Saturday's game against the Heat.

This will be Winslow's fifth straight absence due to the injury that dates back to November 5. He is deserving of a drop at this point unless you have an open IL spot, which is pretty rare for most fantasy teams at this point. Winslow will find it challenging to produce standard league value when he does return to the court.

  • Dwayne Bacon
    SF, Charlotte Hornets

Due to right knee soreness, Dwayne Bacon is out for Friday's faceoff with the Pistons.

This will be Bacon's second consecutive missed game. Devonte' Graham will have a larger role as a starter, as will PJ Washington and Malik Monk off the bench. Bacon had been probable for this one so owners should not have to wait much longer for his return.

  • Jonathan Isaac
    PF, Orlando Magic

Jonathan Isaac sprained his right ankle at a team event on Thursday and is out vs. the Spurs on Friday.

This was a non-basketball injury for Isaac, who was having a fantastic season before this injury occurred. Hopefully this is a short-term issue, but in the meantime, the Magic will turn to Terrence Ross and Al-Farouq Aminu more often. Both players are worth a streaming spot in standard leagues, Ross for the points and Aminu for the defensive stats, while Isaac leaves a giant hole in the lineup. Aminu will get the start tonight.

  • Andrew Wiggins
    SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

Andrew Wiggins (personal) will miss Friday's matchup against the Wizards.

With the passing of Andrew Wiggin's grandmother, the Wolves will be feeding Karl-Anthony Towns more than ever on Friday. Josh Okogie and Jarrett Culver should be locked into their roles in the rotation tonight, and assuming he takes the court, Jeff Teague will have plenty of opportunities to create for his teammates.
