Dejoune Murray bounced back on Sunday against the Grizzlies, registering 21 points (9-of-19 FG), 10 rebounds, three assists, two 3-pointers and two steals in a 108-106 victory.
It was a key victory for the Spurs as they are now in the ninth spot in the Western Conference standings. Murray avoided foul trouble, allowing him to account for nearly 34 minutes of floortime. He's a key figure on both sides of the ball for the Spurs, who are quickly proving many doubters wrong after claiming two swift victories over their closest competitors. Murray figures to be busy over these final six games, and this could serve as an appetizer for what we should expect to see next season.
