Gregg Popovich said that he thinks after about ten games or so, Dejounte Murray might be able to get an extra five or six minutes a night added to his workload but stressed that it is ultimately up to the medical staff.
Murray has stormed out of the gate to start the season with averages of 14.7 points, 8.3 boards, 6.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks in only 23.0 minutes per game over the first three games. The news that Murray will miss back-to-backs stings, but any extra minutes can only help the dynamic guards value. Derrick White and Patty Mills will get additional run anytime Murray is out.
