Dejounte Murray got it going with an 11-10-5 line with two steals, one block, and only one turnover as the Spurs won Thursday night in Houston.
Murray looked much better in a reserve role and played with more energy and intensity than the entire Rockets roster. He had a team high +33 mark in only 24 minutes and capped off his amazing night with an alley-oop dunk in transition which was the metaphorical nail in the coffin for the Rockets’ season. The Spurs must be excited as they have figured out a small-ball lineup that works and will call upon Murray again Sunday against the Warriors.
