Delon Wright started for the resting Kyle Lowry and put up 15 points (6-of-15 shooting), five rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes on Friday night.
That’s about as good as it gets from Wright, who settled in as the game went on and used his length to great effect on defense. He’s a pretty reliable top-175 option because of his output in assists, steals and blocks, and it looks like he’s the fill-in of choice whenever the Raptors choose to give Lowry a break. His bench buddy Fred VanVleet was also effective with 14 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two triples in 31 minutes of his own. Both guys are viable 14-team plays, with FVV’s minutes slightly more stable than Wright’s.
