The Raptors are now calling Delon Wright's injury a left adductor strain rather than a thigh strain.
That's not good, as adductor strains can linger for some time — one took Avery Bradley down for a couple weeks last year while Rondae Hollis-Jefferson still isn't quite 100 percent after sustaining his over two months ago. While Wright is questionable for Wednesday night we'd be surprised to see him play, even if the Raptors believe he'll avoid a substantial absence. Fred VanVleet will see more run while Wright's ability to play the three might open the door a bit for Norman Powell.
