• DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 24 points on Friday night, adding five rebounds, five assists and three steals while shooting 9-of-21 from the field.

DeRozan was just 6-of-9 from the charity stripe but hit some classic mid-range jumpers when the team’s offense fell flat in the first half. He put them up for good with more jumpers in the fourth quarter and will continue to get his numbers even as Toronto makes a conscious effort to move the ball more. It’ll help increase his assist numbers for sure, and the Raptors won’t be afraid to turn to his isolation possessions when they absolutely need a bucket. DeRozan in the mid-range is as comfortable as a warm blanket and he helped the Raps pick up a much-needed win tonight.
