DeMar DeRozan finished Saturday’s win over the Mavs with 37 minutes for 18 points, a triple, three rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block.
DeRozan’s owners must be happy despite this game as he dropped 40 points in two consecutive games. That is only a symbol of his value returning over his last 16 games as he was struggling over the last two months. DeRozan’s better production comes solely due to shooting better so it goes to show just how important of a category that is for him. If he does not shoot well, his value drops 40 to 50 spots. However, he has been shooting much better than his season average in these last 16 games so it seems like it is bound to drop slightly.
