DeMarcus Cousins scored 39 points on 12-of-23 shooting with 13 rebounds, eight turnovers, three blocks, three assists and a steal in Tuesday’s 93-103 loss to the Blazers.
Anthony Davis left the game in the first quarter and Cousins absolutely feasted. That said, this performance is far from an outlier for him this season – even when he is next to Davis. He went 3-of-10 from behind the arc which may make owners cringe, but he was so efficient otherwise that it didn’t make much of a difference. Expect Cousins to continue to return early round value going forward.
