DeMarcus Cousins finished Saturday’s 123-116 win in Portland with 38 points, eight rebounds and a block on 2-of-7 from deep, 14-of-28 from the floor and 8-of-13 from the line.
Cousins put the team on his back in this one because Anthony Davis was out due to injury. He didn’t register an assist but we’ll chalk that up to a fluke and expect it to change in the next game. His dimes could go down some with Rajon Rondo in town but he’ll still be an elite passer for a big man. He’s a first round lock whose value only goes up whenever Davis goes down.
