• DeMarcus Cousins
    C, Golden State Warriors

The Warriors did not outline the specific severity of DeMarcus Cousins’ quadricep muscle injury, but he suffered at least a Grade 2 tear which generally takes at least six weeks to recover from.

The good part is that Boogie did not aggravate the surgically repaired left Achilles tendon that had sidelined him for nearly a year. Unfortunately though, the tear he suffered makes it unlikely that he will return at any point during the postseason since this is the kind of injury that could linger if he is not fully healed. And entering free agency again this summer we’d expect Boogie to be cautious with his recovery and get ready for another bounce-back season.
