Dennis Schroder posted 20 points, six assists, three boards, three triples and two blocks on 8-of-17 from the field in Monday’s 90-105 loss to the Hornets.
Dwight Howard pulled down a double-double (13 & 10) with a block on and to fantasy owners’ delight, only shot 1-of-3 from the stripe. Howard is shooting an abysmal 44 percent from the stripe over the last month. These efforts weren’t enough though as the game turned into a rout by the start of the fourth quarter. Schroder’s value has dropped a bit recently due to a couple of poor shooting nights, but that is likely just a blip. The recent change to his game has been the uptick in steals to 2.0 a game over the last two weeks. If this change is a permanent one, the quick footed guard will be quite valuable from here on out.
