Dennis Schroder ended up with 14 points, nine assists, five rebounds, two steals and three turnovers in the Hawks’ loss to the Raptors on Friday night.
It was a rough shooting night for the German point guard, shooting just 6-of-20 from the floor and 0-for-3 from deep. He continues to struggle on 3-pointers, now only shooting just slightly above 30 percent. But his assists have been good as of late. In the Hawks’ last seven games, Schroder is averaging 8.5 dimes. With him running the offense and having so much usage, when the scoring isn’t there it’s nice to see the assists rolling in.
