Dennis Schroder finished with 22 points, 10 assists, two boards and two steals on 10-of-22 from the field and 0-of-4 from deep in Monday’s 99-107 loss to the Spurs.
Schroder’s 10 assists are the most he has dished out since February eighth against the Nuggets so this was a big boon for his owners at a crucial point in the season. Also of note is his recent steal production. He averages 0.9 spg for the season but has doubled that over the last six games vaulting him in the top-45 per game. The 23-year old is still young enough to add to his game, so it’s possible he could remain a two steals per game type of player, but in all likelihood it will remain under 1.5 spg going forward.
