Dennis Schroder made just 2-of-10 shots from the field en route to his nine points in 18 minutes on Thursday.
Schroder is expected to carry the bulk of the Hawks’ scoring load this season and is line for a bump in production. He will be a good source of points and assists but they come at the cost of shaky shooting from the field and a fistful of turnovers. He is more of an 8-cat asset, however he has been flying off draft boards in the early-middle rounds in both 8 and 9-cat leagues. His upside is intriguing but be aware of what you’re buying into on draft day.
