Dennis Smith Jr. did not play in Wednesday's finale against the Pistons. cementing him in the top-250 on the season.
Smith Jr. had a rough season both in Dallas and in New York. As a Knick, the second year guard averaged 14.7 points, 5.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game, but was tanked by his abysmal shooting (.413 FG%, .568 FT%) which accounts for his top-250 value both over the course of the season and his time as a member of the Knicks. With some high profile PG’s on the Knicks’ wish list heading into the offseason, it’ll be tough to gauge where Smith Jr. should go on draft day until that situation becomes more clear. Regardless, he has to improve upon his shooting woes if he is to ever hold value in standard 8-cat and 9-cat leagues.
