• Dennis Smith Jr.
    G, Dallas Mavericks

Dennis Smith Jr. scored 16 points on a solid 6-of-10 from the field in Saturday's romp over the Beijing Ducks.

Smith also added six assists and a 3-pointer without committing a turnover in 26 minutes of action. The efficiency and turnovers were absolute killers last season but DSJ should be able to make some nice progress between a better supporting cast and his own improvement. The addition of other playmakers might help Smith a ton, as he'll find himself with some better shots beyond the decreased opportunity for turnovers. He's still a dicey 9-cat play but there should be enough volume to get into the late-middle rounds in 8-cat.
